If you don’t know how to continue a chat please don’t start a chat with me. I’ll get annoyed and angry at you.

godsradicaldaughter:

God wants us to fully depend on Him. As Jesus said in John 15, “Apart from Him, we can do NOTHING.” You see, beloved, in your entire life, you’ll come up to nothing if you’ll just rely on yourself not God. Even Jesus, here in His life on earth, had to depend on God. He said, “I can do nothing of my own initiative.” (John 5: 30) We can see in the rest of the chapter that Jesus looked to the Father for everything He did. He fully depended on Him.
And now, beloved, if this is how Jesus lived, how more should we? Our lives can never bear fruit by self-effort or our devices, but only through abiding in His love and resources. This is true for our studies, our ministry, our relationship, and everything we can think of. We’re lost without depending on Jesus. Now that you’re a new creation, now that you and Him are one, you can’t be separated. He’s the power living inside you. His Spirit is the mighty river flowing out of you. God wants you to trust His supply— not just for the things you do, but also for what you need. God wants you to draw from Him alone. Beloved, in every situation, in every circumstance, look up to the Father and depend on Him. Expect from Him, and trust Him; He will be pleased.
